  • New Feature: now you are able to Select items you want to add to Collection (Blog, Events, Portfolio, Products…). After you’ve done Get Collection Data and click Create From Data and being in the same type collection (this page should be loaded in Preview iframe and you need to have List opened in Admin panel) you will see a dialog to select items (by default all are selected). So this us useful when need to copy just several articles or in case copying process was interrupted (or you got error) and need to start from some item.

  • New Feature: Now you have Get Files/Create Files in extension’s window. This button allows to copy files from /s/ folder (Files you have uploaded using Squarespace’s Link functionality) to another site. So you just do Get Files on one site, if successfully fetched, button will change it’s value to Create Files and clicking it will try to upload files on new site.

  • Collections Copy fixed and optimized - previously you may got endless loop when having over 1000 images to copy

  • Portfolios Copy - Squarespace changed the project creating API, should work now

  • File Manager - calling old Filemanager with Shift+Alt+F fixed, now it should show all files.

  • 7.1 pages Sections copying fixed - some changes in Sections markup caused errors and you couldn’t use Copy Section

  • Sections Copying is supported now, you may test it. It works on PRO and when you have Content Presets enabled. You do Copy Section On one site and may Insert on another, Footers also allowed, but pasting regular sections to Footer may do them non-editable (will think what we may do there).

Error when trying to clone 7.0 Blog with Description to SS 7.1

Blogs on 7.1 have no Description field and recently Squarespace made server validation more strict: any not supported field is producing an error response in API. So now extension will be trying to save Description to SEO Description field if it is empty (obviously SEO Description does not support markup, so your Description (which supports some HTML) will be stripped)

  • UI Tweaks plugin is adding Tablet previews to Squarespace 7.1 sites. Also old-UI Products have Location tab now - make sense if using Products as source for Advanced Maps plugin or in custom development

  • It is now one extension with LITE and PRO subscriptions. LITE will give you Import/Export and PRO - all other additional tweaks and plugins

  • We support now Squarespace 7.0 -> 7.1 migration for certain Collections (Pages, Indexes with regular Pages, Blogs).

  • You may copy Squarespace 7.1->7.1 regular Pages and Gallery sections but do not try to move Portfolios or Products: it won’t work for now.

  • If you have Unsupported collections created by previous version - it may be deleted now completely.

  • Notice, all unsupported collections 7.0 (Galleries, Albums or any custom collection type) will be allowed to convert to 7.1 Blog or Products if possible.

  • 7.0 Index Pages may be converted to regular 7.1 Page and sections. Notice, only Pages inside Index will be supported, any other collection types will be ignored.

  • 7.0 Folders migration not working for now. May be will add id really needed and there will be requests.
